A delicious Avocado Drink as partaken by South East Asians.
Ingredients:
1½ teaspoons instant coffee
2 Tbl condensed milk and 2 cups boiling water (OR 1 cup milk and 1 cup boiling water)
1 peeled avocado, seed removed
Method:
Combine the coffee powder and milk and water. Allow to cool.
Blend the avocado into the liquid. This is the Base Mixture. It may be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 days.
To make the drink, pour an amount of the Base Mixture into a tumbler (usually about 1/3 to ½ glass would suit most people).
Thin to desired drinking consistency by adding water, milk or both. Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or other sweeteners as preferred.
The addition of a tablespoon full of cream or ice cream or both per tumbler improves the appeal.
