Ingredients:
Pancakes
1 cup SR Flour
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp bicarb soda
½ cup milk
½ cup water
1 mashed banana
Syrup
1 cup carambola juice
1 - 1½ cups sugar
Method:
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the milk and water and banana. Beat until smooth and bubbles appear.
Cook in frypan on a medium heat.
Heat the carambola juice and add the sugar. Bring to the boil, stirring until the sugar is melted.
Boil rapidly until thickens. (You may have to cheat and add a thickener).
Serve over warm pancakes.
