BANANA CRISPS

Method:
Use barely ripe bananas or plantains. Peel and slice into ½-inch rounds. Drop into a bowl of iced, salted water. Let soak 30 minutes. Drain and dry with paper towels.

Heat vegetable oil to 375ºF in electric fry pan. Fry banana slices till crisp and golden. Do not overcrowd. Drain on paper towels. Serve and listen to the compliments.
