Ingredients:
1 packet of mixed fruit
1 cup of milk
2 Tbl marmalade
1 tsp mixed spice
1 mashed banana
1 pkt glacé cherries
1 cup sugar
125g butter or margarine

1 cup self-raising flour
1 tsp bi-carb soda
1 cup plain flour
2 eggs
2 Tbl of rum
Method:
Put all ingredients listed above the dashed line into a saucepan, mix and bring to the boil for 1 minute.
Allow to cool, then add eggs and rum and mix well.
Then mix all the flour and bi-carb soda together and stir into the fruit mix.
Pour into paper-lined tin. Bake in a slow oven for 1½ hours or until cooked through.
