BLACK SAPOTE-BUTTERMILK PIE

Ingredients:
1 cup sapote pulp
2 Tbl cream
1½ tsp lime juice
¼ cup flour, sifted
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
Spices (optional)

Method:
Mix together all ingredients, folding in beaten egg whites last.

Pour into partially-baked pie shell and bake at about 375°F for about 35 minutes or until it rises in the middle.
