1 medium breadfruit
250 g minced topside
2 medium sized onions
4 cloves garlic
2 birds eye chillies
2 Tbl tomato paste
2 Tbl veg. oil
salt, pepper
50 grm. grated cheese

Cut breadfruit in half lengthwise, scoop out about 6.5 cm. of flesh set aside.

Heat oil, add finely chopped onions, crushed garlic and chillies. When onions brown add meat, tomato paste, salt and pepper and breadfruit flesh. Mix well and simmer until meat is cooked.

Put mixture in breadfruit shells and cover with grated cheese. Place the shells in baking dish with 2 cm boiling water and bake in a 150ºC oven until cheese is melted and gets brown.
