Ingredients:
4 very ripe yellow sapotes (canistels)
2 Tbl butter or marg.
½ cup of cream
2 cups of milk
3 eggs
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
juice of large lemon
½ cup sugar
½ cup sultanas
uncooked pie shell
Method:
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a rotary beater.
Pour into prepared (uncooked) pie shells, sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in a moderate oven for ½ an hour.
