SAVOURY CASSAVA PATTIES

Ingredients:
350g cassava
1 finely-chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
parsley
grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

Method:
Peel cassava, boil it and discard water.

Cut it into small cubes, boil in fresh water until tender, drain and mash.

Mix in all the other ingredients, shape into balls and roll in flour, flatten and fry in hot oil until brown on both sides.
