Method:
Slice guavas, add a small amount of water and simmer until thick (about ½ original bulk).
Add honey to taste, towards the end.
Push through sieve to de-seed.
Spread evenly in flat non-porous tray or on foil to thickness of about ⅛ in, (3mm).
Dry in the sun for 2 to 3 days, or in dryer.
Turn once and slice into strips.
