GUAVA KETCHUP

Ingredients:
3 quarts guava pulp
¼ cup water
2 tsp salt
1½-2 cups vinegar
6 cups sugar
5 medium onions, finely sliced
3 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground cloves
3 tsp ground allspice
4 chillies, seeds removed, finely chopped
2 large cloves garlic, put through press or finely sliced.

Method:
Cook onion in water until soft. Add all other ingredients, stir well. Cook 40-50 mins. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately. Excellent with meat or avocados, or in a cheese sandwich.
