GUAVA SAUCE

Ingredients:
12-15 soft, ripe guavas
½ cup water
½-¾ cup sugar

Method:
Wash and chop guavas. Add water and boil until soft. Strain to remove seeds.

Return to pan, add sugar and cook a little longer.

Serve hot or cold over shortcake, ice cream or puddings.

Sauce may be bottled or frozen for future use.
