Ingredients:
1 medium papaw
90g butter
2 cm piece of grated ginger
rind of 1 lemon
Method:
Cut the papaw in half, scoop out seeds and cut halves into three. Peel papaw pieces.
Melt the butter in a baking dish, add ginger and lemon rind. Place the papaw into the melted butter and baste. Place in an oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
This is delicious served as an accompaniment with roast beef.
