STEWED PAW PAW

Ingredients:
1 medium green paw paw with slight yellow streaks, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces.
1 cup sugar
juice of 1 lemon

Method:
Cover the pawpaw pieces with water. Add sugar and boil for a few minutes until tender to suit taste.

Add clove and lemon juice for flavour.

Chill or freeze.
