HOW TO USE PERSIMMONS

Method:
Eat fresh - partially peel and just spoon out.

Use in recipes in place of stewed apples.

Use for desserts, pies, cakes, compotes, sherbets, ices, candied, jams, preserves.

In fritters.

Serve as a sauce with ham, pork, duck, game.

Try it dried in rollups or pieces.

Freeze slices in small containers, use frozen in fruit smoothies.
