BARBADOS CHERRY CORDIAL

Ingredients:
2 kg cherries
Juice of 1 lemon
1 kg sugar

Method:
Wash cherries. Half cover with water and then bring to the boil. After cooling, strain the juice off. Add 1 kg sugar per half-litre of juice. Boil the juice briefly. After cooling add the lemon juice and store in bottles.
