AKEE CURRY

Ingredients:
white arils from six firm open akee pods
1 Tbl butter
salt to taste
1 Tbl curry powder
1/3 cup milk

Method:
Simmer the arils for five minutes; pour off the water and set aside.

Make curry sauce. Put butter, salt and curry powder into saucepan, stir in milk. Heat.

Drop akees into hot sauce, warm slightly. Serve.
