FRIED BREADFRUIT CHIPS

Method:
Peel breadfruit, cut into eight sections lengthwise. Remove the core. Slice the flesh into thin slices as potato crips.

Soak in water to which has been added salt and turmeric, for about 20 minutes.

Strain and squeeze out the excess water.

Fry in deep oil. Can also be cut as you do French fries, fried and then tossed in salt and chilli power (not curry powder)
