1kg breadfruit
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp dried mango powder
1 tsp salt
¾ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp chopped ginger
ghee or oil for frying

Peel and remove the centre part of the breadfruit. Cut into small pieces. Place the ghee or oil into a deep fryer and heat. When the ghee is heated, deep fry the breadfruit pieces until they are crisp and golden in colour.

Sprinkle all the powders and salt on the fried breadfruit and shake the dish so that they get covered with the masala evenly.
