CASSAVA CHIPS

This is an easy way to make a most enjoyable snack or to have with a main meal instead of ordinary chips!

Peel and wash a few pieces of cassava. Place in a saucepan of boiling/salted water. When the cassava is half-boiled, remove and allow to cool.

You then slice it into thin finger-size pieces and deep fry until golden brown.

For best results allow to drain on paper to remove all the excess oil.
