JABOTICABA ICE CREAM

Ingredients:
3 cups of jaboticabas
2¾ cups of sugar
2 litres of milk

Method:
Crush fruit in a saucepan and add enough water to just cover the fruit. Boil, then simmer until tender. Leave overnight.

Bring to the boil again and then place in a straining bag to drain for about 7 hours.

Add sugar to juice and stir till dissolved. Stir juice into milk and slowly freeze.
