MANGO JAM I

Ingredients:
3 cups half ripe mango slices
3 slices lemon
1 cup pineapple juice or water.
½ cup water
sugar

Method:
Combine mango slices, water and lemon slices in a pan. Cook until mangoes are tender. Remove heat and press through sieve (or use a blender). Measure sieved pulp and add an equal amount of sugar. Stir in pineapple juice. Cook, stirring frequently until mixture reaches jam consistency. Pour into hot glasses.
