MANGO SCONES

Ingredients:
2¼ cups S.R. flour
1 Tbl castor sugar
1 Tbl butter
1 cup mango puree
1 egg slightly beaten

Method:
Sift together dry ingredients. Rub in the butter.

Make a well in the middle and add mango puree mixed with the egg. Mix together to a soft dough.

Roll out on a floured board to a thickness of 2 cm. Cut into rounds, place on a greased tray and bake in a very hot oven (240°C) for about 15- 20 minutes or until hollow when tapped.
