½ kg puff pastry or make some wholemeal pastry
½ Tbl margarine
½kg creeping spinach or small taro leaves
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
2 Tbl tasty cheese
¼ cup fine breadcrumbs
375g cream cheese
2 eggs
salt and pepper

Finely chop onion and crush garlic. Melt margarine in large pan, add onion and garlic. Wash and chop spinach, and add to softened onion; Cook 2-3 minutes, shake pan occasionally, salt. Drain and cool.

Roll out just over half of pastry and line base and sides of tin approximately 30 cm x 20 cm (12x8"). Sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs.

Mash the softened cream cheese, beat eggs and add, then stir in cooled greens. Spread evenly in tin. Roll out the rest of the pastry and place on top, making sure you seal the edges.

Bake at 200°C (390°F) 45-50 minutes or until golden. Serve hot or cold.
